jean paul gaultier pre-fall 2012

after jean-paul gaultiers haute couture show, this seems a lot more demure for his pre-fall collection. as usual for pre-fall there is a lot of tailoring, in greys, blacks and browns. two jackets have fur and there are pops of purples and reds in between the mostly neutral palette.

there are trenches, leather jackets, some with sleeves and some without, paired with tailored pants and a few skirts here and there. in the middle of it all there is an asian inspiration with a purple kimono and printed pants.

gaultier didn't forget the accessories, with leather boots with paired with most looks, leather gloves and knitted wristbands. this collection looks to be about layering, for woman who want that classy look with a bit of a tough twist.
