will never understand the inclusion of stuff like this in fashion magazines and why it isn't protested by the same people who oppose page 3 etc. do similar editorials featuring page after page of naked men appear in magazines aimed at straight men? i doubt it.
This looks more like a spread for Playboy but at the same time I appreciate the fact that they didn't hide physical imperfections. The stomach rolls and pudgy hips are a refreshing change.
Thank you for posting this! Juergen Teller has being doing this de-sacralisation of the fashion-perfect-body-shot. Photoshop has been terrible for women's self esteem and this rebellious photos, are a statement I welcome. Big thanks to the women that participate, leaving vanity aside. This are the feminist in fashion: Kristen McMenamy, Vivian Westwood, CHarlotte Rampling and now, Lara Stone.
I don't know what's wrong with you people, but those pictures are beautiful. They have nothing to do with Playboy or porn, just unveiled beauty. We need more of this in in fashion magazines!
No photoshop. That's revolutionary in these times.
ReplyDeleteThis is soft porn, not a fashion editorial. Why are you promoting it?
ReplyDeleteSo unflattering....It shows that even Lara Stone's boobs won't look good after pregnancy.
