Fond memories of Morocco form the starting point for Pre Fall 2015. The city's distinctive architecture, artisanal craftsmanship and energy inspire the motifs of the collection.
Prints play with traditional patterns, distorted and reworked with photographic light shadows and brushstrokes. The geometric beauty of mirror mosaics, tiles broken with age and sunlight beaming through windows is contrasted with softer patterns inspired by the Moroccan Crocus flower.
The collection uses a palette of richly pigmented colours including electric blue, shocking pink, rust and deep burgundy which are off-set with sun bleached shades of warm silver and wisteria.
Artisanal techniques and Moorish architecture inform the embroidery: floral threadwork sewn on lace, chiffon and knitwear punctuates the collection. Cocktail and eveningwear pieces are highlighted with mosaic mirror-work and fully-sequined geometric panels, drawing back to the original vision of Marrakech.
Softly-draped silk chiffons and fluid, open-sleeved designs sit alongside tailored outerwear and a sleek jumpsuit – exemplifying Williamson’s signature brand of femininity.

  2. Unfortunately the poor taste in accessories, make-up and styling hurts the potential beauty of these designs. She looks cheap!
