  3. Hi Mate,

    Thank u For
    sharing this unique article
    . Definitely a life saver.
    1) Make sure that the header line is always fed into the target, even if there are no "real" source data available.
You can do that either in the mapping itself using e.g. a Joiner / Union transformation and appropriate mapping logic or via another mapping which runs before the load mapping and creates the header line; then the actual load mapping would no longer use the "Output field names" feature.

    2) Create a post-session success command which checks whether the target file is empty and, if so, writes the header line to it.

But great job man, do keep posted with the new updates.
    Many Thanks,
    Morgan

  4. Hi There,

Smokin hot stuff! You’ve trimmed my dim. I feel as bright and fresh as your prolific website and blogs!

I hope there are not detailed navigation questions such as I have experienced on other Informatica tests, because who memorizes each menu path dill-down to get to some detailed setting. We have moved past the old days of having to remember long DOS string commands. That's why we have a menu navigation system today.

THANK YOU!! This saved my butt today, I’m immensely grateful.

    Thank you,
    Ramya

  6. Hi There,

Thank you. Absolutely perfect! I was SOOOOO excited after seeing the blog and these instructions were absolutely wonderful! You’re a life saver!

do joiner with Source and your lookup tables. Informatica MDM Training USA
That would be full outerjoin on your lookup table. Pass thru Expression put three condition for flags and then pass it thru router. Which wouuld routes your data depending upong filtering condition defined in Expression. And that would go to you Expression , where you can play with your date logic and it goes to Target tables. so there would be in total 4 target tables ex. for insert, delete, UPD as Indert and Update as update.

Great effort, I wish I saw it earlier.

    Obrigado,
    Preethi.

  7. Hi There,

    Thanks a trillion mate!
It works like charm, saved a lot of energy & time.

Take the value from ROWID_MQ_RULE column in C_REPOS_MQ_DATA CHANGE table and check that ROWID_MQ_RULE value in C_REPOS_MQ_RULE table where you have all the triggers information.

I read multiple articles and watched many videos about how to use this tool - and was still confused! Your instructions were easy to understand and made the process simple.
